Arckid: Band of Brothers

Once upon a time there was a band called Spacehog and they rocked so hard that it hurt our feelings.
Spacehog consisted of Royston Langdon (bass and vocals), Antony Langdon (guitar and vocals), Richard Steel (guitar), and Jonny Cragg (drums). In 2002 the band amicably split to pursue other projects. In 2006 Royston, Antony and Christian Langdon formed the band Arckid and after some personnel changes were rejoined by their old friend Jonny Cragg. Antony subsequently left the band and is pursuing a solo career.
Which leads us to the current Arckid lineup: Royston Langdon, Christian Langdon and Mr. Jonny Cragg.

Pop-Rock Candy Mountain spoke with Jonny Cragg about Arckid, and learned very little, except that there may be an upcoming Spacehog reunion (swoon) and that Jonny Cragg is a very sweet and gentle person, for one who rocks so fucking hard.
We can tell you that something is afoot and that we will continue to update you as the Arckid mystery unravels.
Pop Rock Candy Mountain (PRCM) I didn’t see any tour dates on your myspace page- is the band touring right now? If not do you have plans for a tour?
Jonny Craig (JC) The band are currently not touring. We are assessing our options so as to speak.
PRCM: Where can people find/buy Arckid’s albums or singles?
JC: We’re trying to figure out a way to release stuff which is easy for our fans. As yet nothing is finalized. We also have the spectre of a Spacehog reunion looming and whether some of those songs would be best served on that record.
PRCM: You played Lollapalooza in Chicago a little over six months ago- what was that experience like?
JC: It was great to get back to Chicago, play and connect with some old friends.
PRCM: What’s coming up for Arckid that we should know about?
JC: Well we shall see…..I’ve already hinted at what is around the corner, but i can’t say any more I’m afraid!
